We came over the summer with my incoming 7th grader. He wanted to attempt to test out of all 8th grade math to be able to take Algebra 1 in 7th grade. The manager was very forth coming that with only 6 weeks of studying for the CBE that this would be a difficult task. I liked that she was honest with me. After testing my son on his level she believed he could take on this task. He went 2 times a week over the next 6 weeks.
