We came to Mathnasium in October for an assessment for my son. He is on the Autism spectrum, as well as having dyslexia and dysgraphia, and has struggled in math. Our first appointment I could see the apprehension and emotion in his face and demeanor. It took a few sessions to get him comfortable with being at Mathnasium, but he soon began to develop relationships with the instructors and became very comfortable with coming in and working with them to better understand the concepts. My child has gained new confidence!
They provide a great small group environment for kids to learn. They keep them accountable for the work they are doing. The prices are comparable for the amount of sessions you take in other tutoring places. All the tutors are understanding and share attention that the kids often do not get from school teachers which we have seen more confidence in our student in the first month! The only reason for not being 5 stars is that if you go during a busy hour, that it is loud and distracting to the kids. The tutors do a decent job... read more
