Wonderful leaders, and certainly saw improvement in my child's grades and confidence in Math. Walk-in appointments were very convenient. My child did feel the instructors were very friendly, but not sure how far to read into that. I also had to remind that to reassess him after he complained that the work was too easy. Overall, I would recommend trying it out because the benefits were there, and outweighed any of the inadequacies.
Mathnasium is great! Our kid loves all the instructors. It makes her excited about math, makes it feel accessible because they teach her strategies, and it’s fun. All the kids seem to really enjoy it.
The proof is in the pudding! My daughter started Mathnasium in the 3rd grade. I try my best to get her there for 8 to 10 sessions a month but some months I can't make it happen with all of her other after school commitments. We just try our best to get her there and to continue the learning. The time spent at Mathnasium has paid off as she just started junior high school and they have placed her in Advance Math.
