We have loved Mathnasium for our high schooler. When he started 9th grade, he was 2+ grade levels behind for various reasons. After one year at Mathnasium, he was scoring up to par on state tests and A-cing his algebra class! Our son really likes the tutors, and enjoys the environment and reward program! I have three children attending Mathnasium in Santa Fe. They started a year ago and it has made a HUGE difference in their math skills, self-esteem and attitude. The tutors are all highly skilled in math and have amazing social skills … which is hard to come by. My daughters have gained confidence in math, very happy with their progress.
My daughter would fight me tooth and nail to get her to practice math until Mathnasium. She loves going and she loves learning here. She's a completely different kid than before. And she is getting so much better at concepts that she has been struggling with. This has been well worth it in our eyes.
I have had such a wonderful experience here. My son is consistently making progress and I really like that he can continue doing math throughout the year so he doesn't forget concepts and fall behind. I also like the fact that even when they are still mastering other math concepts, they will also go over any current assignments and other topics he is covering in school.
