My 3rd grader has loved her experience at mathnasium! The atmosphere encourages learning in a fun way. The staff and owner, Gail are also wonderful to work with
I brought both my kids to this location of Mathnasium to avoid the summer slide and to strengthen math skills. I thought they would fight going but they loved it! The tutors are patient and helpful, Flo the office manager is great, and my kids loved the punch cards and rewards system. They also got to take brain breaks and have fun theme days where they can earn extra points or prizes. Gail is also very responsive to requests and overall we love this place. We will back this summer!
My son has been attending Mathnasium North Bethesda since third grade. He is now in eleventh grade. He has been taking accelerated/advanced math program at school. He benefited much from Mathnasium and gained confidence in key mathematics and geometry concepts, in addition to boosting his grades. They have excellent programs for grade level studies, along with flexibility to focus on specific subjects on demand such as for home work topics of the day/week. My daughter is in fifth grade and she loves going to mathnasium. All the teachers are nice, you can bring school work and they will teach you how to do it, too. All the work that they do at the center is suited for you. I highly recommend!
