Judy was my real estate lawyer in a sale of a condo in jersey city. I was selling it remotely from CA. 1. Zero proactive communication. The closing took three months. Jodi helped me and my partner purchase a home earlier this year, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is one of the most responsive people I have ever come across, often responding to our emails in mere seconds. Please read Jodi's yelp reviews. Her google reviews have to be fake as I had a horrific experience working with Jodi. I almost didn't write a review but don't want someone else to go through the experience I went through. Jodi failed to do her job to protect me, I believe she was in favor of the builder and not me as her contract was extremely one sided. There are not enough superlatives to describe Jodi Materna as both a lawyer and a person. Professional, warm, caring and just an overall fantastic person--does not do her justice. Ms. Materna, is beyond a competent lawyer she dispatches of any issue that comes up and resolves things quickly. We told her that we would post this, and she was so humble about it.
