While it is obvious from Kirk’s photos that he is an extremely talented artist, it is his preparation, attention to detail, flexibility, and good nature that make him an exceptional wedding photographer. Speaking from the perspective of an artist, I wanted my wedding photos to tell a story and to represent the ambiance of the event. After all, you spend a long time planning it (some their entire life). So I knew I wanted a true artist to be our photographer, after all anyone with enough money can buy the best digital gear there is and take a photo. We chose Kirk because his portfolio contained so many gorgeous, timeless, artful shots -- no Instagrammy photo filters or a reliance on a contrived "wedding photo list."
