I had a full body massage with aromatherapy oil due to a knot in my left shoulder and lower back stiffness. The massage started well with medium to strong pressure but half way through the thumbs seemed to be doing most the work and became painful. I had to say it was too strong and I wouldn’t have said anything unless it was really hurting as I have a high pain threshold. Every time I have been, all I’ve received is poking. Most recent, my 20min shoulder and neck massage consisted of 18mins, yes 18mins of thumb pushing into the middle of the side of my neck and the 2 mins dedicated to my shoulders. Massaging is not pushing with a thumb, it’s circular motion. Last time for my remedial, it was exactly the same. I will never go back again.
Good seated massage, terrible lay down massage. Older women was texting during my massage and left her phone next to my head on the table. No technique, no pressure (even though I asked for harder), WAY too much oil (excessive to the point you couldn't feel the massage) and sat on a stool for more than half of the massage. Excellent customer service and massage. Tony (the owner) ensures to address all your needs - He endeavours to find you the best therapist to address any muscular/skeletal concerns. The staff are all very kind, professional and friendly who provide a true therapeutic massage experience (which is lacking from many of the Thai owned and/or operated massage businesses). I would recommend this facility to anybody looking for a true Chinese influenced remedial massage. Excellent!
