I have been going to deep tissue massage therapy for years and had a lot of different therapists. Today I had the absolute best, most thorough deep tissue massage (60 min) from RMT Xingwu Li (Mark). His personal technique was both the most comfortable and effective form of deep tissue massage I've ever had. I have never left feeling like I had no pain and full rotation in my shoulders and neck like this. I will try to get him exclusively from now on. This level of therapy is well worth the money!
Appointment started 5 mins late and ended 5 mins early. 60 min now down to 50. Add in the assessment and it was a 40 min massage. Treatment was below average. Not enough oil led to an uncomfortable massage when going over the same area repeatedly for longer periods of time. Therapist was knowledgeable in some areas but it led her to be dismissive and incorrect in her assessment. Nice people. However, the therapist i had was rubbing me like she was kneeding dough. Rubbing,stop rubbing,rub . The person was not following where my muscles were to be able to release the tension . And when she turned me over, she moved my head to the opposite side without checking with me even though it was already been advised that my ine side was very tight and sore .
10 for the massage therapist however for 1 hour your charging $100 plus tax . Are you guys serious? I understand its covered through manulife but still.most of which you keep it with yourself ( company) and only pay some to the massage therapist.
