JUNE 15 is WORLD ELDER ABUSE AWARENESS DAY. Alberta "Dolly" Howard a 30 years Springfield Public Schools Volunteer died at the age of 109 and was buried in a secret ceremony and unmarked grave in OakGrove Cemetery. Parris Peco Howard a SPS employee and son of Alberta Howard, Joseph Robert Copeland, and Florence Cage were all elderly victims of homicides, abuse, frauds and scams in the City of Springfield, MA
Devon was really fantastic to work with. He was patient, understanding, asked clarifying questions, and outlined what I needed to do for my district in a clear and linear way. I really appreciated his patience. Probably the best interaction I've had with the organization in a couple of years!!

Adding to the list of commenters who had a horrible experience with the man who answers DESE's phone line. He interrupted me multiple times, read the website to me verbatim when I tried to ask my question, and was extremely condescending. This not only reflects poorly on DESE, but it means people aren't getting their questions answered or accessing the services they need.
Obviously the other people that rated this never dealt with NY's DOE. I'd give MA ten stars if I could.
