Got waited on quickly.All the years before they did my taxes when I was there but this year they said they would do my taxes and get them mailed back to me in a couple weeks.
Anytime I have a question whether in person or over the phone, I receive prompt and courteous service. I recommend not waiting until the very last minute to go into their office as to avoid a longer wait time. I go in March, walk right in and out in less that 30 minutes. Very organized and friendly staff. This is my 5th year in the community.
Moved out of Mason in December of 2013 after my condo caught fire. No matter how many times i have called this office to tell them I moved, I continue to get notices telling me I have to file/pay Mason city tax. Really wish they would stop harassing me about paying for taxes for the years I have NOT lived in Mason.
