Very cool concept!
We stumbled upon the store in Berkeley and are very happy to learn about the company, the wood it uses harvested from its own reforestation efforts, and its practices. The product are beautiful, well made and solid, very different from the mass manufactured throw-away furniture we mostly find elsewhere.
I had an amazing first visit at Masaya. Blake was incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions about a possible build, discussing benefits of their company over other pre-fabs and their products at beautiful. I hope to build one of their homes!!
We ordered online and the pieces said they would be here in 8-12 weeks. We are almost to the end of week 12, and now I am finding out that we have at least 4-6 weeks for shipping.
