Mary is a pleasure to deal with and gives the personal touch in every quilt she makes.
Met Mary back in January to have my fathers shirts turned into a quilt for my sister. Shes a very busy lady and I waited till late April for the finished product but it was worth the wait. My father passed away in June 2014 and I wanted to do something special for my sister for her birthday. The timing was perfect and I managed to deliver it to her on that special day. Wonderful shop with a wide array of fabrics and related sewing items, but the best part is the congeniality of the staff and the customers. They are all very knowledgeable and willing to help with any project, problem or question about quilts, fabrics, techniques etc. I was looking for someone or some shop to advise me on cleaning a home-made lamb's wool quilt and their advice included the names of two cleaners, one to avoid and one to use with caution, the latter of which would probably do a good job and not ruin the stuffi... read more
