For more than 4 months I have been attempting to get my Articles reinstated when my business should never have been placed in forfeit status. 19 years we filed the same way, via USPS and no issues. The state changes how payments are processed, no checks, electronic only, goes to work from home and nothing is getting done. Just the Articles are not completed correct... read more

I wish I could give zero stars if I could. 4 mailings later and a phone call (she was very rude and unhappy) that was very helpful at the time, and I STILL got a letter back stating there are issues. Just to change a dang address! I could change an address easier at the post office! Why is this such a difficult process? AND I had to pay 25$ for it. Maryland needs to do better!

Maryland is a terrific state. I am proud to live here. That said, I don't know why taxpayer services are so abysmal. No matter when you call, a recording will say they are "experiencing high call volume." The tax payment web site looks and feels like it was built in 1997.

This Department's service is terrible and needs a complete overhaul. It smacks of incompetence and/or unaccountability. It's useless to try to make telephone contact. The auto messaging is absurd and results a sham! I provided full documentation with my application only receive a mail request for the same info.

Tonya, Mark, and everyone else who helped me this morning to get my articles of revival rush processed for my company, were an absolute delight to work with and an absolute credit to public service.
