I am a mentally disabled American with Cancer and a single father of the most amazing daughter who turned 13 today. I missed her birthday and don't know why. After I applied, I received a text message 4 days later saying I was registered. No calls for 4 more days. I finally reached a lawyer and was told, the boss was in a meeting deciding the cases, and that the boss, not the lawyer I was speaking with was taking my case. Point hold for twenty three minutes opted to have a call back. When the young lady called back , she asked what the issue was and as I was explaining, she hung up on me. At first I thought it was a mistake, Or lost connection and she would call back. She did not call back. How very unprofessional. What Kind of way is that to treat a disabled person asking for help?
Maryland legal Aid was a good selection for me , when money was low and i needed a good , knowledgeable attorney. I thank them for their invaluable help.
Been trying to get services they turned me away maybe their case load is full it’s crazy
