Tiesha M. was such a big help to me. She was respectful, responsive, patient, and was thorough in answering all of my questions. I was very satisfied with her work ethic, and how much attention she was able to give to my situation. She is a valuable asset to the Maryland Board of Nursing, and I am eternally grateful that she was the one who I communicated with. Thank you, Tiesha!

I have experienced a lot of difficulties in the past with this BON. Many of the requests related to licensing from other states BON can be easily accomplished via their web site or over the phone. One can do merely nothing in the acceptable time with Maryland BON either by phone (phone very very very rarely picked up), on the website and in person. I don't understand why this institution has been this way forever and no one looks concerned. I wonder that this institution functions as one of the institution in the third world... read more

There is SO much room for improvement at MDH. There are many policies and procedures not properly updated. Discrimination and bullying has been my experience since working at MDH. A huge lack of transparency throughout the agency. MDH has out scaled many processes making it very inefficient in most areas of the agency. For better efficiency and best practices to occur, there is an overwhelming need for more human resources in various areas of IT. Building infrastructure and technological enhancements are far outdated in man... read more

This is one of the most corrupt organizations in Maryland. MDH are pawns and tools that corporations and insurance use to go after their business adversaries and whistleblowers. I have proof that these guys routinely dismiss serious crimes by doctors and other health care professionals who are a risk to the State Government of Maryland, financial interests, and some of the most corrupt organizations in Maryland. The investigator Molly Dicken and their prosecutor Robert "Bob" Gilbert collaborated with an unethical fraud and ... read more

I drove all the way over to Beltsville on a Sunday afternoon to get this done. The trip was for naught. I watched the Youtube video before going there, so I went in with knowledge about how it works. That didn't help. At first the machine had trouble rebooting, I guess. It wouldn't scan my bar code. There were several other hiccups. Then I manually tried putting in my numbers twice. Finally, it told me I had to take my car to another site. Ugh! We need more of these at different locations around the county
