I would give zero stars if i could. The lack of care is unbelievable. They need to hire more help! More NA, Cleaning, Nurses, cafeteria ect. From the top to the bottom. Rooms/bathrooms not being cleaned for weeks. Toilets being dirty for days/weeks in a shared room. Walls in the room dripping with brown ; who knows what. Do everything you can to not let your loved ones come to this place. If you are going, make sure you have family to do everything for you while paying over $9,000 a month for no help. My friend, a Christian man who loved the Lord with all his heart, full of charisma and humor that brightened any room, was admitted to Marwood Nursing and Rehab (1300 Beard St., Port Huron, MI) in mid-to-late April 2025 to gain strength. I am outraged by the utterly deplorable, cruel, and unprofessional treatment he endured. Battling painful cancer, he deserved dignity, not blame, yet Marwood staff, influenced by oncology nurse practitioner Candise Love’s notes or comments unfairly blaming him, viciously turned against him. ... read more
