My mother-in-law was a resident at Marvella for over a year at $10,000 a month. Unfortunately, Marvella decided that she was too high maintenance due to her Alzheimer's and kicked her out. The lesson here is that Marvella charges premier prices but only offers bargain basement services.
Marvella negligently withheld my mom’s pain medication for the first two weeks she lived in memory care. My mom has spondylitis which has caused severe pain for over 30 years. She has been taking 3 to 4 OxyContin pills per day for many years. After moving her into Marvella, my mom repeatedly told me she wasn’t getting any pain meds.
