My sister and my brother-in-law have been living in the lap of luxury at Marbella in St. Paul for over two years. He has Parkinson’s and lives in his own apartment. She is in a lockdown area with advanced Alzheimer’s. The facility is totally first class. The rooms are spacious with built in closets nice kitchens and bathrooms. The staff are people who really really care about their residents, who treat them with respect, kindness, and compassion.
We moved my mother into Marvella in May. We have been very pleased with everything this place has to offer. The staff are exceptional without exception. The food is great and we love dining with my mother frequently. We searched all over the area and decided on this place after looking at many places. We were surprised to find that it was the least expensive. That's not to say this is cheap. Everyone is very friendly...staff and residents.
Marvella is a wonderful place. The staff is very welcoming. They always take the time to get to know the residents. You can always go to management if you have any issues. I hope the people that left the negative reviews have spoken to management about their issues, otherwise how do things get addressed and handled.
Marvell won’t take care of you if you go on Hospice and then kick you out of the community when my Father could no longer walk . They refused to feed him!!! Had to transport him out of there so he could find a place to care for him to treat him with dignity, and assist him to die peacefully. . You all caused an unbelievable amount of stress on a family whom already was stressing. This doesn’t show me you care about your residents….this shows and proves the opposite is true.
