The most geologically interesting quarry in the state. A shaft mine into the Greenbrier Limestone of Mississippian age. The shaft is at the axis of the Burning Springs Anticline. The Anticline brings deep geologic strata over 2000 feet toward the surface of Ritchie County.

I worked at this quarry during the construction phase of building this quarry it was almost like working at a underground coal mine.
