I wouldn’t wish the last several days on my worst enemy. Fighting with the health care system all for Martin Health at Westminster Village to send my father home, without assistance, because we couldn’t write an astronomical check to pay for an entire month. Found out on Friday at 5pm insurance stopped SUNDAY. And today, they put him in a van to go home when he cannot get out of a chair alone. No meeting halfway. No compromise. I can't say enough nice things about this facility and it's staff. They are the best, bar none. I received excellent care, consideration, kindness and all around positivity. A special shout out to one of my nurses, Sam, also a very special CNA, Ki'Maya, Dr. Lau is the best ever, my physical therapist, Kim. So many more from reception, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance. The staff at Martin Health Center is amazing! They are very attentive and care deeply about their residents. The facility is beautiful, clean, and updated. I feel very grateful to have my loved one in a place where I know they are receiving great care.
