Tried booking a load with Susan Miller.. First would not send all the info of the load. Once she finally did after requesting same info 3 times we agreed on a rate. I sent her all info - Driver info, insurance updated per request, Vin # per request, picture of driver CDL per request, filled out a packet, ect.. Once everything was finalized and we were just waiting on a ratecon she then emails back and cuts the rate in half.. The rate agreed on was a normal rate at only $2.85 a mile. We booked a flatbed load with Martin Cartage & Express, which is associated with ALG Worldwide Logistics, from Schenectady, NY to Brevard, NC. The confirmation stated “next-day delivery guaranteed before 12pm” on an 855-mile run — a non-feasible delivery window for a solo driver. We immediately notified the broker that it is a huge concern for us, and Rebecca Towry confirmed Friday morning delivery was acceptable. We booked a load with John Cooper. Sent a truck 140 miles deadhead, excellent communication on our side, tracking, updates, afterhours, etc...but on theirs the load was picked up by another carrier or most likely resold based on his work ethics. He ghosted us over TONU. Miserable people living miserable life.
