Dr. James Martel is an exceptional doctor. He listens carefully and answers with compassion. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is able to clarify difficult concepts with ease. He offers good advice and he is genuinely kind as he does so. His staff is also wonderful! I'm so grateful that I found his office.
Dr. Martel is an amazing doctor and goes above and beyond. I was hospitalized for almost two weeks and he would work at his practice all day and then when come see me at the hospital. He is doing everything he can to help me. I would highly recommend him.
Not sure why there are some poor reviews. My father had an incident last Friday when he opened a cabinet and a can drops on his eye, and we went to Mercy ER on Sunday, per nurse hotline suggestion because seems the eye gets swollen, then was referred to Dr.Martel. I can tell it is a very busy office, the wait might be a bit long, but everyone wants to see the most qualified and best doctor, right?! The front desk was sharp, efficient and right to point. I was admitted to the ER at Sutter in Roseville. He didn't think that my case was important enough to actually attend to. I won't be scheduling a follow-up with this guy.
