I came here to visit my grandmother, i met a lady named Melissa in memory care. She was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. She took the time to answer all of my questions, made the whole process easy, and genuinely cared about helping me. Great customer service like hers is hard to find, and I really appreciate everything she did. Thank you for making my experience such a positive one!

I witnessed the new manager, Alisa or Melisa aggressively grab an employee by the shoulder during lunch time on May 12. In my opinion, the physical contact appeared inappropriate and unnecessary. A simple tap on the shoulder would have been more appropriate. You do not treat the employees that take care of my Nono in memory care.

This was by far one of the best memory cares I have ever seen. That was until January. In January a new admin came in. Absolutely one of the worst managers I have ever met in my life. She has zero respect for staff or residents. She sits in her office all day and never comes out to see the residents. She changed the lunch breaks and now people don’t get a lunch break until 2 hours before the shift is over. And if you miss your breaks the meds techs make you wait to go last. Through family, work and friends, we've had considerable experience with half a dozen assisted living facilities in the Eugene area. The Marquis on Country Club is BY FAR the best. All assisted living facilities have high turnover and struggle with staffing, but the Marquis gets the job done better than the others - much better. Our elderly mother lived there happily for two and a half years, so we can speak with some authority. HORRIBLE conditions for these unfortunate souls that have to live under the management of this establishment. I'm heartbroken for all those wonderful people. Do NOT leave your loved ones here UNLESS you can be on site a minimum of 5 days/wk to pick up the slack of their SEVERELY understaffed facility. Every staff member there with the exception or 3 people are AMAZING people. But as the old saying goes, "it's pretty difficult to swim when your hands are tied behind your back in rough waters"
