HORRIBLE conditions for these unfortunate souls that have to live under the management of this establishment. I'm heartbroken for all those wonderful people. Do NOT leave your loved ones here UNLESS you can be on site a minimum of 5 days/wk to pick up the slack of their SEVERELY understaffed facility. Every staff member there with the exception or 3 people are AMAZING people. But as the old saying goes, "it's pretty difficult to swim when your hands are tied behind your back in rough waters"
I had to help place a friend here and they made the process seamless and hopeful. They helped her adjust despite a few problems she was having. They were patient, kind and understanding. The staff have been so wonderful on every level and the activities are plentiful and fun. My friend has now adjusted very well with the help of everyone here. They made our experience wonderful.
My friend is in the Memory Care Unit at Marquis. I have found staff and administrators eager to address any concerns. In a recent incident, not of their making, they rose above and beyond to assure that my friend was well cared for. Since the facility opened, they have taken strides to assure that any glitches were ironed out and they are doing a remarkable job caring for their residents. I highly recommend the Memory Care at Marquis.
