RecommendedA little over a year ago, I was on my last leg of a painful journey through alcoholism. At 65, I had become suicidal, suffered from pancreatitis, could not stop drinking. I was admitted to Marquette Hosp. in rough condition. I spent a week there, in the intense care of the psychiatric unit. I received much help from an awesome staff. auxiliary serving coffee. the blood center and the little things they do for blood donors. family care doctors always providing care even with inability to pay ; I have been a patient for 20 years.
Escanaba clinic is a joke, doctors don't listen to patients, I fought with my doctor there for 5 years to find a medicine that helps with my back pain, I finally find something to works and they mess it up and won't fix it. many other things they don't listen to as well. got rushed off the phone by a nurse so she could go on lunch break, information never got to my doctor, my doctors main nurse just tells me they cant do anything, and basically to deal with my pain, or gives me options that have been tried and not worked bef... read more
Great Hospital with awesome Nurses 4th floor ICU huge thanks to Linsey RN, and Rhode RN. you both where a huge part in caring for our loved one. This Hospital is lucky to have great nurses like you!
It's near impossible to get an appointment and when you do they never give you your results. My son had his first year of school disrupted because of their crappy service
Central scheduling is HORRIBLE. First, you hang on hold for 7 or 8 minutes. Then you have the option of leaving a message. I did that 2 days ago and finally got a call back today. The same goes for calling the doctor's office....you are on hold forever. It seems like perhaps hiring some more folks in the call center might be advisable. I love Dr. Haloske and she is the only reason I don't take all of my health care needs to Escanaba. To the EMS, emergency department, ICU, cardiac step down, 7th floor, cafeteria, housekeeping, hospitality rooms, doctors, nurses, and staff members a heartfelt Thank You and gratitude for the genuine care, concern, helpfulness, and even humor you gave to my family during our stay.
