Their phone system is lousy. They could never connect me to the right wing. I was on the phone for 16 minutes on hold before I hung up one time and two other times the phone rang at least 15 times before it hung up on me. When you call the operator should be able to dial the correct wing and not the main wing and have them transferred. All I wanted to do was find out about a patient. The old hospital was way better.
the new hospital is the filthiest hospital I have ever been to. ushered into dirty rooms to find garbage like this.
We came in 4 1/2 hours ago to the ER Dept to have stitches removed (that’s what they said to do) and we still sit and sit and sit! This is absolutely ridiculous!
Arrived UP Health System ER for treatment of severe knee pain. Did not see a doctor, but a doctor wannabe. Ms. Wannabe refused to order up an MRI to determine if a ligament had let go. This is a brand new medical facility that opened up on June 2nd. As I told Ms. Wannabe, her lack of treatment only confirms that getting proper medical attention in the U.P. really leaves a lot to be desired at times. Heading for Green Bay on Monday to see a professional who knows what he doing.
@marquettegeneral I have brought my son to your new hospital with a possible concussion and it's almost 30 minutes and no one has been to see him to take vitals or anything. Your staff isn't friendly either. Way to make your new hospital better!

8 hours in the ER took 5 hours for the doctor to come in.. still sitting here in my car waiting for my daughter to find out what is wrong! Terrible rude nurse he is very cocky
My son was admitted on day two of your new opening. I must say, everyone was outstanding. Especially for the stressful events that happened with my son, everyone was so efficient. My little guy was first one admitted on pediatrics floor and so very well taken care of.
