Update: An extremely nice lady, Ms. Spencer,called me today and apologized, reversed fees, and is overnighting my son a card. I still feel angry with the situation but I feel like she responded promptly and kindly and that I don’t feel like happens any more with businesses so I’m upping my rating from 1 star to a 4 star. Another update: Ms. Spencer called me again today to verify I had his replacement card in my hand and to make sure I didn’t have any follow up issues, concerns, or questions. Absolute trash!!! They convinced me to open a student checking for my teen then charged him over $100 in dormant fees and turned off his debit card without telling us. They won’t refund his money even though we were told he wouldn’t have those fees since his account was linked to mine. My kid is crushed, he worked so hard to save his money to open his own account. Lemont location of Marquette Bank is great. I've never had a single issue with the ladies inside. They have always been kind, professional, and polite. Whenever I call with an app lockout or a fun rewards point question, they help with a smile and often we have a chuckle about our small talk as they finish up my business with them. Although their fun reward discount program often doesn't offer discounts it shows, that the points earned just for using my debit card as a credit card at the checkout are worth it.
