Purchased a bedroom set from here back in June and was promised we’d receive the furniture by July 12th. We didn’t receive any calls about delivery (we were promised a phone call for delivery the day before arrival) so we called ourselves only to find out the furniture is not in stock and won’t be until August 20th. We came to the store to figure out what happened and left with utter disappointment. They sold me a couch which started pealing off after only two years. I went to Marlo to complain in person and saw that they are still selling this couch. Furthermore, the protection plan they sold turned out to be scam as well. For every claim I had they found a counter argument not to do anything. So feel free to spend thousands of dollars for furniture and than after complaining you only hear that there is nothing we can do for you. They also don't care about the protection plan they have sold.

Our couch was delivered unwrapped and full of roaches. They won't pick it up for a week, won't refund our money, and want to charge us $100 for a return delivery fee PLUS 30% of the purchase price for a "restocking" fee (apparently they plan to re-sell a roach infested couch). I called Customer Service and was told to "have my husband deal with it" and that if I was dissatisfied I could mail a letter to their Board of Directors. We purchased a dining room set from Marlo in Nov 2016. It was not delivered until Feb 2017......and during those three months, it was VERY difficult to get ANY information on the status of the order. Apparently it was the table pad that we purchased that was holding it up. Marlo - you should be able to call your vendor/supplier to get an update. Fast forward 5-6 months.....we notice our table is wobbly. I request a service tech to come out b/c we determined the table had not been properly installed BY THEIR TECHNICIAN. They ... read more

Do you realize that your Virginia Flag in front has a hole in it where the VA Seal is supposed to be? It just looks like a plain blue flag with a circular hole in it.

Stay away from this store. They treat you well until they get your money then try to show you that you can do nothing. Promised to deliver in 2 to 6 week. Waited 8 weeks and told me to wait another 3 weeks. What I hate most is their arrogance. Whatever they offend you, they don’t feel sorry.

I would like to shed some light on the lack of information given to me on my recent so-called "purchase" I had made with Marlo. I was looking for leather couches for my living room and was asked how my credit was to purchase the furniture. In the midst of all the confusion, I was sent over to an office inside of Marlo called Rent A Center (but was not aware that it was). To my understanding I was still making a purchase with Marlo. I was extremely disappointed with Marlo... We bought what we thought was a nice couch from them... I didn't notice how flimsy the craftsmanship was in showroom (I'll take some blame for this)... once it was delivered I started noticing that the frame seemed a bit weak... We have not even had the couch for 3 months and a board that is part of the frame has broken.
