Guy did a fantastic job restoring an antique desk I’ve inherited from my grandmother. He went above and beyond to bring the piece back to a beautiful state and did so in a very timely manner. He was wonderful to work with and we will certainly use him in the future for the restoration of other pieces.

I recently gained possession of two antique armchairs that had belonged to my grandparents. Wanting to get the chairs restored, I came upon Markusfeld Restoration during my research. Markusfield Restoration is the BEST and I am so pleased with their services! I recently moved to Indiana and my movers seriously damaged my antique hutch, breaking glass doors and breaking one of the dining chairs. I contacted Guy Markusfield and he was not only able to repair the glasswork but make the chair look brand new! He is wonderful to work with and kept me informed of the process and the price ahead of doing the work, so there were no surprises! I took a very unusual parchment covered nightstand to Guy. The piece had a couple of severe water stains on it. Guy was willing to take a look at it but said no guarantees as he had never worked on this particular type of material. A week later he returned the piece to me with not a trace of water staining. Amazing and the price was incredibly fair! Thank you!
