Our stepfather Eric moved to Estia Little Bay in August following a series of falls at home and two weeks in hospital. He was very reluctant to leave his home but staying was not an option. All the staff were very welcoming and always tried very hard to help Eric make the transition from home. We were assured by the high level of 24 hour care being provided and the kindnesses shown every day to Eric by every member of staff. Our Dad has been at Little bay for 5 years. It is his home and we are always made welcome to visit , to celebrate cultural and family celebrations or have a meal with him. It was a hard decision to place our Dad in care, but the transition for us and Dad, was made possible by the Staff who care for not only Dad but gave us both a sense of belonging. Can't recommend higher! The care/carers were top level, we felt at ease knowing our Mum was being cared for by them, they were all so sweet, genuine and absolutely amazing. We can't thank them enough, (particularly the dementia ward).
