Our mom transferred to Marjorie P. Lee from Mariemont Care Center. The experience has been incredible. Our mom is 92 and had a broken pelvis in 3 places. As soon as we transferred her, she had a team of care people surrounding her: social workers, therapists, Aides, Nurses and even the cleaning staff. All the personnel seem to love their jobs, take pride in providing quality care and really care about the people they are treating. The first facility are mom was at was horrible. My father spent his final months at MPL. He was in the rehab facility after a fall and the moved to assisted living. He lived the gardens and food the most. The nurses, aids and other staff did a great job dealing with his health issues. He was especially fond of Shenna an aid the rehab. The whole family loved her. She knew how to motivate my dad and brighted his day. Jackie was also a joy to be with. She is small but mighty and knew how to get my dad on track. My dad died a few weeks ago. Arrogant medical staff. Medical staff made treatment decisions based on intake assessment instead of evaluating symptoms that occurred 3 days post intake. No doctor or nurse practitioner bothered to evaluate the patient when she was complaining of extreme pain before making medication decisions, and ignored recommendations from hospice nurse. Arrogant LPN who asked patient to state her pain level from 1-10, and when patient replied 9, the LPN said "you don't look like you're a 9." Definitely a "we know best" philosophy that ... read more
If you’re thinking about joining the dining staff here don’t do it .. they use personal feelings to make decisions and try to force you to work every holiday I recently just had a newborn and my fiancé had a minor setback because they kept denying my request off and unfortunately, they pretty much was trying to make me choose my job over my family so again, if you have smaller kids, don’t work here
