Firstly I want to note that I have not had a problem with my taxes with them as we have been with them for years. The reason for my rating is primarily with their customer service. I have experienced poor and rude communication with them when they are asked reasonable questions by their clients. We have used Maritime for a long time. In 2020 we started to experience issues with our corp tax filings being filed late. We reached out to the owner Curt multiple times during this time with no response or call back. We decided at that time we needed to move accounting firms. We then received multiple notices from both the IRS and the state of Michigan stating we owed back interest and penalties for the taxes during the first quarter of 2020 being filed late.
