I went to Dr. Michael Brown at Maritime PT for a painful and restrictive spinal disc injury. After a few short months, following his PT regimen, I am able to resume my active profession and lifestyle. The dry needling option was fabulous for pain relief for a couple of days after and allowed my body to relax and recover, allowing me to get more out of the PT. Dr. Brown fosters a calm and productive environment. Highly recommended.
I've messed up my shoulder about every 6 months for the past few years. I would go to the chiropractor, and he'd reset the issue, but lo and behold I'd do something (usually lame, like look the wrong way too fast) and my shoulder/neck would be in pain again. I have received treatment at Maritime following a total hip replacement. Dr. Michael Brown is very knowledgeable in his field. I have improved my mobility significantly and all tasks were explained as to how to do the exercise and the area that it targets. Michael has a very outgoing personality that will put you at ease immediately. I would strongly recommend Maritime Physical Therapy for your recovery.
I had an excellent experience at Maritime PT from the incredible facility to the professional care Michael provided. If you haven’t heard of dry needling, I highly recommend doing some research on it and then scheduling an appointment with Michael to talk more about it. The one word that comes to mind is, euphoric, which is the feeling I had after Mike released (through dry needling) years of pain that I had been dealing with. I highly recommend him as he is extremely talented and knowledgeable.
