Very disappointing experience. No one seems to know what they’re doing. The employees had to make multiple phone calls just to figure out how to handle a simple citation. After waiting for hours, they still couldn’t provide a clear answer because the staff didn’t fully understand the process. A DMV should have properly trained employees and a more efficient system. The lack of organization and the amount of time they make people waste is unacceptable. I hope they improve their staff training and customer service.
Inconsistent communication,a lack of compassion or basic understanding or atatle law and rules. Every time I went back they asked for a different piece of paper. Show up with the death certificate which I told was what was required then I suddenly need a will. Endless runaround. I would avoid Shari if you can she did not seem interested she didn't even want to touch my papers. Btw, went to alachua butler location and I didnt need a death certificate or a will. Lived in many states and this specific location is the worst. System was down for hours. When they did start up they refused to fill out form and request title from lienholder. Didn't bring up temp tag at all. Called another office in Gainesville, they said come up here we will request and take care of temp tag. Gainesville wanted to work and this place would try to get out of working.
This place is extremely slow and horrible. Been there twice, and both times was skipped over because they choose who they want to help. What's the sense in picking a number when they skip over people? If I could give no stars, I'd be happy.
Shelly is absolutely the most patient person and so very helpful after two days of issues she worked her hardest to fix ever and got it all figured out and I was able too get my Florida license thank you so much again
