In 1967, Robert Hockett branched out from full-time farming, joined with Allied Chemical and became one of the first liquid fertilizer distributors in the Willamette Valley.Then in 1976, Hockett teamed up with 4 other local farmers to form Marion Ag Services Inc. Two years later, Hockett bought out his partners and Marion Ag Service became the largest distributor of Ashgrove Lime in western Oregon.

I drove from keizer but called ahead to make sure they had what I was looking for. Everyone was super nice and knowledgeable and I'm pretty sure it's still a family-owned local business. Great place to buy fertilizer
The drive out there is worth it. They have all the crop inputs that you can possibly need and way cheaper than Wilco or TSC. Lime is especially a good value. A must have resource for smaller farms or small land holders.
Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.
