Not a favorable experience for us. Took advantage of 12 months same as cash to be direct pay out of our bank account. After water softener unit installed we find out we can do auto pay but only with 60 month option. Then if we opted to a phone payment it has to be with a debit or credit card at 2.5% fee. When I asked when my first payment would be do I got 3 different dates all on the same call. Not a friendly financial institution at all.

I got a loan with Mariner Finance in 2022 for $6000. I needed an unexpected household repair right before Christmas this year and got a email from mariner saying I was prequalified for another loan so I applied. I got approved for the $2000 I requested. The lady called me from my branch saying I was approved and that they would buy my old loan out and roll the rest of my old loan ($1300) into my new loan.
