One star only because I can't choose than. They were paid off August of 2016 in the amount of $459 and now here it is October 2017 and say we owe $410 more. I truly believe they are scam artist because they have zero information on amount paid off or amount supposedly that we owe.

Had a balance, paid off the balance (full amount, not a settlement) the agreement was that it would be removed from my credit report. They never updated anything, it's been 9 months. Had to despute it with all three credit agencies and it still wasn't removed. And they are basically telling me too bad its my problem. I understand it's a collection but I held up my end of the agreement. A letter saying that it's paid off is worthless when your try to buy a home. Excessively abusive collection personnel. If you are a company looking to hire a collection agency, know that Marigold Financial agents have an exceptionally hostile attituded. They have obviously become very jaded in their line of work. That can't be good for your company to have them making people feel so unnecessarily miserable. Your company is better served by finding another company to handle your late and collection accounts.
