11/25/24 I deposited a check from my employer. Today 12/3/24, I tried to deposit my check from the same employer. This time I was interrogated on where I got my check from and denied service. I've worked at the same place for almost a year now and have never had a problem depositing them with maries county. The lady said I "need $500 in my account to deposit a check". Always friendly staff and service. I recommend Maries County Bank to everyone...
I've been with this bank for four years as of now and they are by far one of the worst with customer service. The people who work the counters are always rude and snippy and openly laugh at you if you do something or say something wrong. They also have lost a check of mine that I had deposit through there drop box and blamed it on me and said it blew away in the wind with no camera evidence of that but camera evidence of me dropping it in the box. Don’t recommend at all. They have unclear/unnamed charges on your statements. When you call to get them sorted out, everyone acts like they have no idea how that happened and you never see your money again.
