Update: I’ve filed a report through Better Business Bureau and a consumer complaint through the Illinois Attorney General. Does anyone have any advice? The Better Business Bureau has closed out the complaint due to lack of response from the business (no surprise there). I'm currently following up with the attorney general and my next step is to go to a small claims court. By all means DO NOT book her unless you want your money STOLEN. We will post more at a later date, we just got married and have relatives visiting from all over for the next couple of weeks!! Do not use Marie Miller!! We are out a large deposit and luckily after many emails, texts, no calls left because mailbox was always full, we were blessed to have found CONCEPT ONE PHOTOGRAPHY which provided two photographers and two video tapers!!! (A++++ Best Photographer Company in the World!!😊) We will post more later, just wanted to warn everyone!!!

Imagine entrusting your special moments to a photographer, only to have them tarnish the entire experience. That's Marie Miller Photography for you. Marie was late, blaming it on a so-called "emergency," a tactic that I believe she has used in the past based off of other reviews. Our expectations were modest: timely delivery of photos and a video. What did we get? I saw Marie at a grocery store in Chicago yesterday. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw her trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in her hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Ma'am, you need to pay for those first.” At first she kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. My wife set up everything with Marie here to do our wedding. Paid a $300 deposit and we’ve only heard from her once since then, which is was that she was sick. Which was September 1st, still haven’t heard anything from her. Several messages, calls and emails and not ONE response. We even drove to her office and it’s closed up with mail piled up on the floor.
