I hired Ms. Hoffman as my lawyer for a divorce. Overall, she is professional and empathetic. I think that now, with additional years in family practice, is likely to do an excellent job. As someone who had never experienced a divorce, I put my faith into the supposed expertise of a $500 an hour lawyer. My psycho ex-husband had systematically taken meetings with every decent lawyer within Westchester, so I was relieved when she was available -- should have been a red flag.
