I would not recommend Maria as an IVF attorney. While representing both my husband and me, she acted unethically by having a private conversation with my husband regarding his rights to our embryos—without my knowledge—because he no longer wished to have more children. As our legal representative, Maria was obligated to remain neutral and not provide legal advice to one party over the other.
