We've been in this shop over the years. I smile every time I notice my Happy Place: Colorado sign that sits on my desk. It's a great place to find a souvenir without being cheesy. They even have postcards. Yes, some people still send those including us.
The shopkeeper is an old white woman who is a very rude and unwelcoming. She gave my family and I dirty looks as we walked in and as she awkwardly walked past us as WE said hello, she gave us a smirk with no eye contact. She made us very uncomfortable. I don't support local businesses who are racist

This is a great little shop in the middle of the quaint town of Idaho Springs. I stop there specifically for their Huckleberry licorice but they have a nice assortment of other Colorado gifts and clothing items too. The customer service has always been extremely friendly and warm. Always a happy shopping experience here.
This little store is amazing. I really wish I didn't have to fly back home. I would have bought a couple more things. From your basic souvenirs to hats, clothing, candy, and fudge, to wood carvings, so many cool things. I need this wooden turtle 🐢. If you see this... i will pay to have it shipped to my house. Beautiful 😍 store
