This Marcs is the one I always shop at. But over the last 6 months or so I’ve seen a big change. I’m always there around 7pm on a Thursday bc I work and I asked why all the salads in the deli were gone over the last number of weeks. I thought the cooler was broke. Nope. Young man said people come in at 8:45 and want to order things so they put it all away early! � Not good business at 7:10pm . Also empty shelves a lot . Wonder what’s going on there. this place is clean and always well organized. the staff is wonderful. I lost my cart (long story) which had my car keys in it and just about everyone tried looking for them. And one of the young men did find my cart WITH the keys in it! Everyone cared. And, yes, although it is a foolish thing to do to leave my car keys in the cart, no one thought i was stupid or made me feel stupid. it was refreshing (and a relief!).
In line at Marc's... I ask the young man bagging, will you please go get me the hummingbird feeder the lady in front of me has. He did. It was her son, not a Marc's employee. Haha! They were both so nice! So much bad to process everyday...great to be reminded of all the good!! — feeling thankful.
Normally marcs is my main shopping grounds. I usually have a good experience there. Im a cashier. And i understand that you cant open a drawer to give change. Thats okay with me. But when im purchasing over 50 dollars in food there, and the girls drawer is open to take my money. Why cant she give me change when she finishes that transaction. This is really sad. Or at least say as long as you purchased something. You can go to the main register. Marcs just stuck a knife in my heart. That sucks! I really liked to shop there.
It is nice not to have to write checks any more. Now I can use my debit card.
