I was in this store recently and had a question about a product. Spoke to the supervisor on duty. This supervisor was a younger person, wearing a hat & was busy looking after a child in his arms and when i approached him, it was like i was disturbing him and instead of him appreciating customers and saying hello, he responded by calling me "Yes Boss"! This place on Wynford is a real find. The staff are welcoming and treat my husband and me like family. They have excellent fresh produce and delicious pies. They stock some unusual things, including almond pies, which I haven't found anywhere else.
Let's first start off with on August the 21st purchased package of corn advertised $3.99 cashier said no it's $5.99 complained and she gave a loonie back so in the end paid $4.99. Took it home my wife is rotten and dried up. Took back with the receipt to get a refund, they said no refund set another package. Guess what they didn't have anymore. Marche Leo’s is an absolute gem of a store! It’s right next door to mine, so it’s super convenient, and they have everything you could possibly need. The variety is incredible—each product is high-quality, unique, and beautifully curated. The atmosphere is perfect—clean, organized, and really inviting. Every time I visit, I find something special. I can’t recommend Marcello enough—definitely a five-star experience!
The sandwiches section moves so slow I waited for almost 25 minutes just for bagel cheese and egg. Not systematic all. Staff doesn't know how to multi task. The grocery staff is ok though. I was disappointed!
