I had a very disappointing experience with this property lawyer. I was initially quoted $500 for a release letter, but was ultimately charged $1,500 without clear justification or prior agreement to the increase. This lack of transparency was concerning. Michael Hansen is the best lawyer to deal with, great communication and an overall great guy
Used this law firm to handle a non complicated estate. We did not interact with Marc Whittemore himself so we cannot comment. However, his staff person Jody, was less than impressive, communication & updates were very difficult if she responded at all. Getting disbursement & finalizing our affairs was drawn out longer than necessary & when we did get communication it was very abrupt & incomplete. I would not recommend this firm to handle probate of an estate.

This lawyers behaviour outside his firm is why we are going to not use this lawyer for our 40 closings this year in Kelowna. Highly recommend Pushor Lawson. They have integrity.
