This attorney the most unethical, unprofessional person I have ever worked with. Acted concerned and promised to have charges dropped or provide defense during the "free consultation" however after he was paid $5000, things changed. Did not respond to text messages, refused to return calls, did not file any motions or present any arguments during pre-trial conferences or even show up for hearings "in person". Don't believe bad reviews as they are usually Criminal Defendants that were dropped by our Law Firm. Instead , look up the name Marc Lakin AND any local newspaper. What you will find is an amazing career of victories from 100's of high profile cases. Not ANY cases that had a less than successful outcome. Well OVER 500 Jury Trial Wins and thousands of cases successfully defended.
I would not recommend to anyone. All about the money not the client.
Marc R Lakin is a legal rip off. He works WITH THE STATE and FEDS behind the scenes against you. While taking your $5000.00 up front for a retainer and will not file one motion in your defense to attempt to prove your innocents he's rude short with you and if you want your discovery or file to review, to prepare for court he wont give it to you or will give you sections and keep the rest to conceal the truths then when you get to court you don't know what the state has because Marc hid the truth from you so you dont ask... read more
