My family has participated at least three different Do Ebru classes. One for a club meeting, one with friends and pumpkin decorating. Vesile is extremely knowledgeable of Ebru and a fantastic teacher of it. The joy it brings my daughters (ages 8 and 12) is so fun to see. The creations are hanging in our home and we have given them as gifts. I would recommend this experience to everyone!!
I took an Ebru Marbling Art course taught by Vesile in summer 2019. I found the course to be quite a well-balanced mixture of information about the history of Ebru as well as workshop time to try my hand at some of the marbling techniques that Vesile introduced/demonstrated. We got a starter kit from the Etsy store and took a virtual class with Vesile Yılmaz, an ebru artist and owner of Marbling Art. She is an extremely knowledge teacher, imparting both practical lessons on how to marble in addition to important historical/cultural context about the art form itself. Vesile was the “Artist in Residence” at my son’s elementary school. She was very knowledgeable, fun and engaging! Both my son and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about Ebru Art and practicing it! I don’t consider myself as being “good in art” but Vesile made me feel very comfortable expressing myself, by following her simple instructions, and both my son and I loved our creations! I highly recommend Vesile and her classes! 💖
