Excellent for picking out sneakers When I first started running, I went to Marathon Sports and they "fitted" me with my first official running sneakers - I've been buying the same ones ever since. They let you leave the store with them on so you can test them on the pavement. I was so happy with them and any beginning runner should take the time to visit this shop for advice.
great for beginners and experts I've gone here twice for shoes now and love it. I tell all my friends to go and get their gate checked out, talk about running, and get an expert's advice. This is a great shop
Be good to your feet -- get fitted for shoes! If you are a runner or walker, this is the place to go. Marathon Sports has it all. Great service and staff to help you fit into the right pair of shoes. Yes, fit you to shoes. I cannot begin to tell you how important it is to have the right shoe. If you are a runner, you can attest to the terrible sensation of ill fitting shoes and socks causing blisters, toe and ankle pain. I love the sports utilities they sell here I love the sports utilities they sell here. They are definitely one of my favorite sports shops in town. Easy to access and customer service is reliable.
Awesome This is my new favorite running store. They have everything a runner could want and very helpful friendly staff. The store shows a good knowledge of running by the merchandise they carry. I'm going to end up spending a lot of $$ here!
Makes me feel like running! Marathon Sports is a great place to find running shoes that properly support your feet. The employees are very helpful, even asking you to run up and down Beacon St to figure out whether you're an over/underpronator. Highly recommend this place.

Great running gear I had a great experience and a not so great experience in this store. I first went in to find running shoes as I was starting to train for a marathon. People say when you try the right pair on, you'll know! Well about 7 pairs in, I still wasn't quite there. I ended up buying a pair just so the guy didn't look so bored with me!
