Perfect for everyone from the running professional to the occasional walker Marathon Sports is a truly unique store and I consider it an amazing find here in the city. They fit me with my first pair of all purpose sneakers that I actually feel fit my feet. good store, great staff Okay, so it's a sports store and has all of the things you'd expect from a sports store. The merchandise, however, isn't what makes this store so special - the staff is. I went in looking for some new running sneakers and walked out knowing more about my feet and my gait than I thought possible. They helped me pick out the best sneakers for me based on the way that I run and I've been extremely happy with them. I will definitely return here the next time I need a new pair.

The staff helps you to find the best fit for you which makes a world of difference. The prices are higher than your average sporting goods store, but it is worth the investment especially if you're going to be using the shoes a lot.
Marathon Sports Marathon is the place to go if you need a good pair of running shoes. I'm training for a marathon and they've fitted me for shoes that have made the process SOOO much better. The prices are a bit higher, but its worth it for the right shoe. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone!

If a recommended shoe does not end up being comfortable when worn at home, the shoe can be returned or exchanged within two weeks (even if you ran outside). The company follows through on its mission to find you the most comfortable pair of sneakers for your particular gait. They have six locations in Massachusetts with their south shore location at 134 Washington St in Norwell. Great running gear I had a great experience and a not so great experience in this store. I first went in to find running shoes as I was starting to train for a marathon. People say when you try the right pair on, you'll know! Well about 7 pairs in, I still wasn't quite there. I ended up buying a pair just so the guy didn't look so bored with me! Great for runners The staff at Marathon is very knowledgeable--they'll analyze your walk before recommending a shoe. Very wide selection of shoes and apparel, but on the expensive side.
