Community can be defined as a 'state or feeling of caring about and wanting to interact with others in a group'. This is what you will find at Maplewood Brewster. Our father was fortunate to have spent two years in an assisted living apartment at Maplewood. Beginning with our initial contact, we found all members of the staff smiling, laughing, talking with and assisting the residents who were equally engaged. My mother had an unplanned need for a senior living facility, and when we learned Maplewood had availability, mom was excited to move right in. First of all, Maplewood has to be one of the most beautiful, eye-pleasing facilities we've ever seen. Plus, they continue to refresh areas, furniture, fixtures despite the facility barely being 10-years old.
