I had the opportunity to visit Maple Ridge Lodge, earlier this month, as a possible location for my husband. I found the staff to be especially welcoming, even to the point of having a special "Welcome" sign made for my husband and me. In addition to having a well-planned home environment, Alicia also stressed their educational opportunities, offered at Maple Ridge, for individuals, caregivers, and families to learn more about support services offered for family members. Maple Ridge is a warm, inviting, loving place. The team is both responsive and accommodating. As a community partner, I feel both included in their culture and welcomed. They recently hosted a healthy living event for caregivers and it was awesome!!
It has been a three year journey to have my father choose to move out of his home of 30 years. In all that time I have had many stressful, frustrating, and saddening moments. Throughout the entire process I was amazed at how supportive, and patient, and understanding Alicia Fleming was to be, and to my father.
